Hey Journal!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Today was a pretty good day and I'm glad it's FINALLY the weekend! This week was so long... it was really dragging towards the end of the week!

Work today was pretty normal... nothing out of the ordinary happened. The morning was a little busy and then the afternoon completely died. Dan's Dad left around 3:00 to go hunting for the weekend, and then everything in the office just kinda stopped.

We watched the "Behind the Scenes" of The Price is Right on the TV, and before I knew it, it was time to leave. I left at 4:30 today because I had to bring the deposit to the bank. Dan's dad asked me to do it since he wanted to leave for his trip!

When I was done with that, I headed home and got ready to go over to Linda's house. Dan got home from work, changed, and then we left here around 6:15. On the way, we got turned around because Indian Head Road was closed off because of a car accident!

Dan had not been to the house yet, so this was his first time seeing it. He took the grand tour and it was SOOOO different than the last time I saw it! They've taken down all the walls in the living room and are getting ready to put up new sheetrock and to paint the kids' rooms!

I helped by taping the bedrooms and taking down the blinds.

When we first arrived, Connor was crying and screaming because he had nothing fun to do. He went in his bedroom and closed the door and just kept crying. There's a piece of furniture in his room that the previous owners left behind (free gift) and I took the shelves out, and he went inside to continue crying! I told him it was the "crying chamber."

Dan was looking at the things on the ceiling that we THINK used to be smoke detectors, and Connor said that looked like "ceiling nipples."

While we were there, there were a few unexpected guests. First, their Real Estate agent Backdoor Bill stopped by! He came over to give them their rebate, and Linda thinks he was probably shocked to see that they had all the walls torn down and were under construction!

Then we had pizza.... We had one Sicilian pie and one Sausage pie. The Sausage one was sooooo good! I loved it. I really branched out! As we were finishing out pizza, Linda's Dan's parents came over and they brought some housewarming gifts and helped Dan with some of the work.

Cameron was crazy tonight... she was farting every five seconds! It was nuts! She was also growling! It was quite the scene!

We were there until about 11:15 and then we departed and headed home. On the way, I was really thirsty so we stopped at 7-11. We went inside and there were these two people in there who were CRAZY drunk. They were even drinking while shopping. They were a real mess... the woman was eating a sandwich and it was wild. When it came time for them to pay, the guy said their registers were down, which caused all sorts of confusion. They stood there for like 5 minutes and Dan and I had our drinks ready to buy. We just watched this unfold. The guy was trying to fix the registers and the drunk people were actually not too bad, they were waiting somewhat patiently, but it kept going on and on! Finally they asked if they could just leave $10 to cover everything because it was getting a little ridiculous!

Just then, the registers were working again, so they paid, we paid, and we got outta there!

We got home, I took a shower, and now it's time for bed!!!
