"rainy and cold"

Hey Journal!

This morning Dan and I got up around 10:30 and we watched some TV. It was a rainy and cold day out so we just kinda took it easy and had a slow start to the day. We had no real plans, wither... so we weren't in a rush to get out and go anywhere.

When we finally emerged from the house, our first order of business was to stop at the PO Box in Smithtown to pick up Dan's parents' mail. They had their mail forwarded to a PO Box while they are away so that it won't be sitting at their house.

When we got there, there was nothing in the box...so it wasn't all that exciting or productive.

Next, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. We went to the one in Deer Park. I got the Parmesan Garlic Chicken Flatbread. Always a favorite. We played the trivia game and sadly we lose to another contestant. We made a good comeback but it wasn't enough... I think we lost by about 1,000 points.

After lunch we stopped at the golf course because I wanted to open the door to the Golf Shop. It was freezing cold in there, I think the heat is broken AGAIN, so I went in to open door to the restaurant to let the air circulate a little better.

Next, we headed up 110 and stopped at Urban Outfitters to check out their clearance merchandise. I always love a good clearance sale. They had an extra 50% off, so we looked for anything we might want. Dan got a nice new pair of pajama bottoms and a shirt. I got a sweater and a pair of pants that will be good for Curling.

I was a little upset because we were going to park in the close spots that are reserved for Hybrid cars and almost all of them were taken, and of the ones that were taken only half of them were actually occupied by hybrid vehicles. What a rip. Some people are such nasty jackasses. I can't believe them.

We walked around the mall and then went to the Target in Huntington. We wanted to check out their Christmas clearance. They were FINALLY at 90% off but almost everything was ravaged already. We got two boxes of ornament hooks for .10 each.

We came home after that and Dan went right to the gym. I did some treadmilling, but I wasn't to swift today.

I took a shower and then we played a round of Phase 10 and we're now waiting for Jerry to come over to have some drinks and hang out! Should be a fun evening.
