"water problems"

Hey Journal!

Today I got to work at the appropriate time and Dan's dad didn't come in. He had an appointment scheduled to see the dentist about his jaw but then he also had some pain and wanted to go to the walk-in clinic place. It turns out he has kidney stones and they wanted him to go to the hospital to get it checked out.

He went to the Emergency Room and they had to wait there a long time to get all of the tests and stuff. They confirmed that that is what he had and by the time he got out of the hospital, it was almost 5:00.

The day at work went well... when I arrived we were in the middle of a crisis, of course. Greg had gone to check the big pipes that supply us with water and found that the entire cement box that houses the pipes was full of water. We called a plumber who came and cleared the drain, let the water out, and then figured out that something had gotten stuck in the relief valve. He says it may have gotten flushed out but also has some recommendations on replacing parts of the pipe.

Steve came in for a little while this afternoon but I really didn't see much of him. He spent some time out on the golf course and I was busy with all sorts of random stuff in the office.

I left at 5:00 and headed home. Dan went right to the gym and I rode the treadmill.

-Gym- Report:
2 miles on the Treadmill in 30mins

After that I showered up and I was reallllly hungry! There was nothing here to eat and I hadn't had much all day long. I scavenged around the kitchen for something and I had a leftover slice of pizza and some pretzels. Definitely not a nice home-cooked meal!

At about 9:15 we watched Scandal and now we're just about ready for bed!
