"good friday at smokin al's" or "the iceberg"

Hey Journal!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

This morning I got up and headed off to work. Re came in again today and finished up all the stuff from yesterday. She had to send out the monthly bills and make the tee sheets and then we did some other random stuff!

It was a good day and went by pretty quickly. There wasn't too much golfing going on, though.

For lunch I had the steak sandwich and Re got the chicken quesadilla. However, Lauren entered it incorrectly into the computer so they just made it with cheese only!

I left work around 5:00 and when I got home, Dan left for the gym. I showered up and got ready for the evening! Dan got back and took a shower and then at 7:30 Kristen arrived. We drove to pick up Jimmy and then we went to Smokin Al's for dinner!

Jimmy had never been to Smokin' Al's before and what a better day to bring him for his first time than on Good Friday! It's really become a tradition for us to go on Good Friday because the waits are so much better. This time we had to wait about 20 minutes which was really surprising! I guess other people are getting the same idea about it!

We didn't even really plan for it this time... I just suggested Smokin' Al's for dinner without even realizing it was Good Friday, but I'm glad we kept the tradition alive.

After that, we wanted to go to Chili's for some frozen margaritas! We went to the one in Farmingdale since it made the most sense from where we were coming from and where we were going to. I was really looking forward to their margaritas but I was a bit disappointed. They were a really bad consistency, they were nowhere near as good as the ones we usually get. They were really watery and kinda had a weird taste to them. It was not the quality I am used to!

As we pulled into the parking lot there was a GIANT iceberg in the middle of the lane. Dan didn't see it because he was so busy looking for a parking spot and it was also black from being covered in dirt and it blended it! Jimmy alerted Dan so, luckily, it a Titanic experience was avoided. It was so random, though...it was right in the middle of a lane in the parking lot. Plus, there was no other snow at all on the ground so it was very unexpected.

Accordingly, I took a selfie using my selfie stick in front of it. Yaaaaaassssss.

We got home around 12:15 and now we're just getting ready for bed!
