"new bathroom fan" or "baileys and ice cream"

Hey Journal!

Well, tonight kinda turned out to be a bust. We had plans with Kristen to go out to dinner at 7:30 and then to come back here, play some games, and have some drinks. Unfortunately, it didn't really work out like that.

Anyway, rewind... Work this morning was pretty quiet. It was rainy and weird outside for most of the day, so that's probably why. Hopefully this year we won't have a ton of rainy Fridays!

Today we worked on the letter from the guy who re-designed the golf course that we're hoping to send out to the prospective members next week. We're basically just putting the words into his mouth and hoping he will approve it.

Around 1:00, all of the new patio furniture was delivered! We got all new chairs and tables for the back on the clubhouse and a couple of days ago the delivery company called to say that they didn't have any trucks with a lift gate and that we would have to get 11 pallets off of the truck with a forklift! We basically have a Bobcat bulldozer that has a forklift attachment. So, the truck pulled in and we directed it down the maintenance. We unloaded the tables there and then we got the truck drive to move up to the clubhouse to take off all the chairs. The mechanic is going to put together all of the tables down there and in the meantime the kitchen guys moved the chairs into place.

Other than that it was a relatively quiet day in the office. I left work at 4:20 because I had to get home because the electrician was coming to install our new bathroom exhaust fan. I got home at 5 and he got here around 5:15 or so. He and his guy went upstairs, removed the old fan, then cut the hole a little bigger to fit the new fan. They installed it, hooked up the electric, and we're good to go!

The light is nice and bright so it makes it really nice to see in the shower again. The fan is also really quiet.... much quieter than our old one!

Dan got home, headed to the gym, and I cleaned the bathroom and then took a shower -- and tried out the new fan!

Kristen arrived a little after 7:30 and we headed out. I drove and our first stop was Bottle Bargains. I picked up the Baileys I needed and then we went to Branchinelli's for dinner. The line was a little long but it turned out we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes.... I guess the people in front of us had a large party!

Kristen was a little bit upset about some things that were going on lately so she didn't even touch her food and took it all home. I took about 1/4 of mine home for dinner tomorrow. After dinner we went to ShopRite to get the ice cream and Oreos which were part of my dessert recipe! When we got back here, Kristen wasn't in the mood to hang out or play a game, so Dan and I were on our own.

We made the drinks and they turned out good! They tasted great and they were enjoyable. The only problem was that after we drank them our stomachs didn't feel so great. We think it's because between the two of us, we DRANK an entire gallon of ice cream. Wow. On top of that, we drank Oreos and alcohol! It would probably have been a good idea to have smaller portions!

We watched Shark Tank and now we're just going to make it an early night. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day and we'd like to get up early and enjoy it!
