"spring snowstorm"

Hey Journal!

Well, it's officially the first day of spring and here we are with more snow! When I woke up this morning I couldn't believe that everything was covered. It was only a couple of inches but I was really hoping to be done with this for the season. The good news is I think we really are now!

When I woke up I was sooooo tired. I dragged myself out of bed and I got dressed. It was a snowy Monday so I knew nobody was going to be coming in to the golf course. I also had no energy to get dressed properly so I put on anything I could find. My khakis and a sweatshirt and off I went.

I had to clear off my car and then I hit the road. I stopped to get gas in my car along the way. It was pretty overcast out so I wasn't having much luck with the snow on my car melting away just yet.

I arrived at work around 9:30 and I parked in the middle of the lot. I went inside and got to the office and checked my email. I had a message for Steve asking if we had the camcorder at work. I don't know why he wanted to know, but I assumed he wanted to use it for something. I had borrowed it for the wedding back in November and I never took the video off and it was at home! UGH! I didn't want to not have it so I went back home to get it.

Luckily, when I went out to my car the sun was shining and the snow was MELTING. The car was all cleared off and the snow on the trees was really on its way out.

I made it back home pretty quickly since there was no traffic at all on the roads. When I got home, I transferred our wedding ceremony video off of the camera and onto the computer. We've never actually watched it but it's a little irritating because it's a weird angle!

Anyway, I got the camera and headed back to work.

The rest of the day was REALLY SLOW. Nothing at all happened and it would have been the perfect day to get caught up on stuff but I could not bring myself to get anything done. Nothing. I was so lethargic all day! I was so zombie.

Dan's dad was very into their new condo today. He showed me pictures and asked me to help him with a bunch of stuff. They haven't actually seen the condo in person... only through videos taken by their real estate agent. We were trying to figure out which building it was in using Google maps to see if any of the buildings matched what you could see out of the windows in the photos! I know, crazy... but we wound up figuring it out!

We left work at about 4:00 and headed home. I immediately started a load of laundry when I arrived. I really wanted to wash my clothes that smelled like smoke after Mohegan Sun! It's really disgusting how strongly my jeans and shirt smelled like smoke when we got back to the hotel. We were only there for about 6 hours and it had permeated everything! How any government agency can allow indoor smoking - casino or not - is total insanity in 2016!

After I got the washing machine going, I updated the work laptop from Windows XP Service Pack 2 to SP3. I did this because I was having problems with the program that I was using to update the features on my car and I had done some reading online and it appeared that SOME people had problems with SP2. I have always been a fan of SP2 and even though there aren't many differences I haven't updated most of the computers I use.

After updating I went out to the car and gave it a try! Amazingly, it worked! I was very excited about that AND I set it so that my lane change blinker now gives 5 blinks instead of 3! Three was just too short!

Anyway, Dan was really tired when he got home from work so he didn't go to the gym. I made Macaroni and Cheese for dinner and we watched the news.

We watched Quantico from two weeks ago and then I showered up and had a Cup Noodles while we watched Walking Dead!

Now it's time for bed. We decided to get to be at a reasonable time tonight so that we can catch up just a little bit on our lost sleep from the weekend!
