Hey Journal!

Well, It's official...Vacation is over. :( It's really sad. This morning we were on the Carnival Liberty, and now we're at home, doing nothing, and it's back to work on Monday.

I had planned to write a wrap-up of the cruise yesterday on the plane, but I wound up sleeping almost the entire trip! It was crazy.

So, We woke up at about 6:30, went to have breakfast, and let me tell you... breakfast on the Liberty this morning was like a funeral. Everyone was so sad and down. There was quite the depressing feeling.

We ate, watched the sun start to rise over Miami, and then we went back to the room, made sure everything was cleared out, and we got ready to do the "self-assist" checkout. Our flight was at 12, so we had to get our early, so instead of doing the normal luggage thing, we did it ourselves. They called our deck, and we headed to the elevators. There were tons of people waiting, and the elevators were taking forever to come!

We finally made it to deck 3, and then waited in line to get off. We stuck our card in the machine for the last time, and that was the official end of the cruise. :(

We took the Carnival transfer back to Ft. Lauderdale airport. They played the worst music ever on the ride, so I had to drown it out with my iPod.

I had never taken Delta before... It was alright, but all the stupid fees get you... for luggage and all, and the way they do that "breezeway" thing, it's all so petty and stupid. I like Southwest.

So, we got on the plane, and headed off. We left at 12:45 instead of 12:05, and that was a little annoying, but we made good time, and landed only about 20 mins late. After we landed it took over 30 mins to get to the gate. What a pain in the ass.

We finally got off the plane, made it down to the baggage claim, and Dan's dad picked us up!

So, we had a little while at home, relaxed a little, tried to get settled back in.

Then we had Shawn's birthday party! We went there, it was fun. We played some photo hunt, and it was good times. We left at about 11, and it felt like it was 3am! It's just been a really long day!
